charitable efforts in support of our Search and Rescue mission to provide immediate help

whenever a loved one goes missing.

TEAM AMBER RESCUE (TAR) was formed to honor the memory of Amber Dubois,

14, my daughter, who never met an animal she did not love. Villaggio donates a portion of the

sales price of every pet to the Search and Rescue team in order to help us continue our work.

During the 13 month of search for Amber Dubois, many locals volunteered to search for

her until the murder of a second local girl (Chelsea King) a year later resulted in disclosure of

Amber’s remains. After that, I formed Team Amber to provide immediate help by trained

volunteers. After a year’s training and examinations, our Team commenced Search and

Rescue efforts in April. All Team members volunteer their time and efforts.

“Amber”, a yellow Labrador, is our first search and rescue dog and was donated by

Villaggio. “Amber” has received national media attention for her work even though she is still

in training. She lives with me and goes everywhere as a service dog. My family has owned and

loved many dogs, but none as remarkable as this hard-working, dedicated “Amber.”

On behalf of our TEAM and the families of the people we help, thank you.
